LeatherCraft Pro — Privacy Policy

Gem.In" Eyes Productions ("we", "us", or "our") operates the LeatherCraft Pro application for iOS and macOS. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app.

 

Data Storage

All data you enter into LeatherCraft Pro — including pricing calculations, customer information, job records, invoices, and settings — is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data, and it never leaves your device except through the optional iCloud sync described below.

 

iCloud Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud on your device, LeatherCraft Pro uses Apple's CloudKit service to sync your data across your own devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is not accessible to us or any third party. Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy govern this storage.

 

Data We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers. Specifically:

  • No analytics or tracking SDKs are included in the app

  • No advertising identifiers are collected

  • No usage data is sent to us or any third party

  • No account creation is required

  • No cookies are used

 

Customer Data You Enter

LeatherCraft Pro allows you to store customer names, contact information, and business records. This data is stored only on your device and in your private iCloud container. You are responsible for your own compliance with applicable data protection regulations regarding any customer data you choose to store.

 

Network Access

The app communicates only with Apple's CloudKit servers for data synchronization. No other network connections are made. The app includes an internal HTTP server that operates solely on your device (localhost) for communication between the app's user interface and its data layer — no external network traffic is involved.


Children's Privacy

LeatherCraft Pro is a business tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

 

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
