Each track confronts systems of oppression, celebrates community, and reclaims space for voices too often silenced. With raw emotion and masterful storytelling, Chibbi weaves themes of heritage, survival, and self-discovery into a powerful tapestry of sound. This album is not just a collection of poems, it’s a call to action, a testament to the fight for visibility and justice, and a celebration of the unstoppable strength within us all. This is the live premiere of that album, filmed at the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center in San Antonio, TX.

I was asked to write a poem to perform at this year’s San Antonio MLK Virtual March, so I imagined the kind of world I wished we were living in. The dream that MLK had. This is “Autumn, Always” after Danez Smith. Much appreciation and gratitude to the city of San Antonio, the MLK Commission, and the production team behind putting this all together.
